Yet another hobby shop clearance item, this one is still wrapped in the box.  I bought a second one recently from Ebay that was new but opened. From what I have read, this is actually quite a nice flying rocket and a very detailed display piece. There is a “Stability Probe” which is attached to the ship for flight, and houses the parachute.

These are Vacu-formed kits which require a great deal of hobby experience to work with. It also requires a lot of patience from what I have read as well!

Both of my kits are the 25th Anniversary edition, which comes in a nice box instead of the traditional Estes plastic bag. I have been thinking of making this into one of the other Constitution ships, but I have just read about the ISS-Enterprise, The Imperial Star Ship Enterprise, part of the mirror universe, which is seen in the original series episode Mirror, Mirror under James T. Kirk, who took command after killing former captain Christopher Pike.
