This is one of the rockets that Estes released under their “pro-series” line. To me, this was the only one that really called to me.  Luckily, I managed to acquire a prebuilt one a few years ago. It has never been flown.

Overall the build is ok, although the leading edges of the fins were not sanded down. This will be a minor repair. I also plan on sealing some of the body gaps and giving this a nice paint job, obviously preserving the decals and original look.
